GENERAL
School starts promptly at 07:30. Learners should report at 07:25.
When the bell rings all games must be stopped immediately.
No learners are allowed to leave the school during the school day without the principal’s permission.
No learners are permitted in the classrooms before or after school or during breaks without a teacher in attendance.
No learners are permitted to run in the corridors during breaks or changing of classes.
No learners may play in the change rooms.
Neatly covered books must be carried in a solid school case. No stickers are allowed on the cases.
All school clothes, cases and personal items must be clearly marked.
Learners must be courteous at all times.
Learners should go to the restrooms during breaks or before school. Should a learner need use of the restroom during lesson time, he/she must have the correct permission card.
Only one learner may leave the class at any given moment.
Chewing of bubblegum is not allowed.
Parents are requested not to park in the school grounds – the safety of the learners are at stake.
Parents should not drop off, or pick learners up at the main entrance to the office. The other gates are available for this purpose.
School desks may not be scribbled on.
Any damage to school property, sport equipment, text books and exercise books will be recovered from learners.
Parents are requested not to visit teachers during school hours. Please report to the office at all times.
No toys of any kind may be brought to school.
No fire-arms, knives, or any other dangerous weapons, crackers or other harmful substances e.g. drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, etc may be brought onto the school premises.
Learners may not climb trees, or on the roofs or any other construction on the school premises. Plants may not be damaged.
Learners may not smoke or use illegal substances on the school premises, or in the classrooms or in any other building.
No cellular phones may be used during class time by the learners, except when the principal has given permission.

Learners are only allowed to wear the approved school uniform during school hours.
GROUNDS
Learners may not climb trees, or damage plants
Rubbish may not be thrown around.
Use the stairs. Learners are not allowed to slide down the rails.
Learners are not allowed to ride bicycles on the school grounds.
CLASS RULES
Learners must line up in straight lines in front of the classroom.
Learners will be quiet immediately when lining up in front of the classroom.
Girls will enter or leave the classroom first.
A learner must stand behind his/her chair, until the teacher gives them permission to sit down.
Learners may not shout out answers, but should put up their hands and answer only after being nominated by the teacher.
No learner may wander around on the playground or in the corridors during periods. When changing classes, the learners should walk promptly to the next class.
No eating in the classrooms, especially bubblegum.
Learners are not allowed to play with toys in class.
After each period the learners will clean the classroom, as requested by the teacher, before leaving for the next class.
LETTERS
A letter from the learner’s parents/guardians must be produced as soon as possible after any absence.
Written permission is required for transfer cards.
All tear-off slips must be signed and returned.
Learners’ school bags must be checked by “parents” for homework and/or letters on a daily basis.
